Photography has been pretty much a life long passion for me but it’s not been an end unto itself but more of a catalyst or undercurrent of many other pursuits.
Packing a camera to take on a mountain adventure is as essential for me as a sleeping bag or hiking boots. I don’t always grab a DSLR, it might be a compact point and shoot, a POV camera or sometimes just my iPod, but one way or another a trip is not the same without some excuse to stop and snap a few frames.
