Team Assembles in Campbell River
21 - Day event at Tyee Spit Campbell River - 2 pm
Campbell River and lakes
22- Depart on foot up Campbell River trails to John Hart Lake to meet canoes.
23 - Paddle Campbell lakes to ERT trestle bridge, camp on Upper Campbell Lake
24 - Crew change, resupply and return canoes
Crown Mountain
25 - Depart on foot up Bacon Lake road for Ranald Creek & Mt Evelyn
26 - Descend into Tlools Creek to camp at Myra Lake
27 - Ascend to Peak 5016
28 - Hike ridge to east col of Crown Mountain - meet Minister's party
29 - Ascent of Crown Mountain
30 - Parties spilt - Minister returns via north approach, main party descend to Tlools Creek
31 - Meet canoes & paddle across Upper Campbell Lake to Strathcona Park Lodge
August
Buttle Lake
1 - Paddle Upper Campbell to Parks HQ. Event at Elk Portal 1 pm and head down Buttle Lake.
2 - Continue down Buttle Lake. Camp at Thelwood Creek outlet (old Price Creek trailhead)
Buttle Lake to Great Central Lake
3 - Start hike and camp along Price Creek
4 - Hike past Green Lake over Price Pass to Margaret Lake
5 - Follow Margaret Creek toward Della Falls trail
6 - Finish Della Falls trail and meet canoes at Great Central Lake
Great Central Lake, Alberni and Victoria
7 - Paddle Great Central Lake, arrive Port Alberni
8 - Travel by road/rail to Nanaimo and Victoria
9 - Breakfast at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Expedition party disbands
